The final stretch!

Its the last 2 weeks I will be doing work on my capstone! I am in great shape to be able to finish on time, but as you can see by a post at 11am I am having trouble getting myself out of the house into the cold to work today. HAHA! There is a lot to be done, hopefully all of you received your email invitation to the gallery opening on May 17th. If you didn't be sure to add your email to my mailing list (on the left bar.)

I have the detail work on the woman, and a lot more small butterflies to paint. As well as more wisteria on the other side of her. But it won't be long until I'm on finishing touches. This coming Friday is a big, collaborative, class work day; hopefully all my classmates will feel as good as I am feeling by then.


In other fantastic news: I have the keys to my summer studio apt! It is adorably small and I was lucky enough to have Donna come help me with the decor! I have stayed under my budget goal without a problem so far, but MAN moving is expensive stuff! I'm upgrading to a queen sized bed, and I do not like how expensive bedding is. But its ok, I will be going out to Big Lots with Mika next weekend. Hopefully my bedding and rug problems will end there... Although I don't know how I would get her and both of those items in the Miata, we better take her minivan.
