My first Mural job: Hambone

I was offered an awesome opportunity to replicate an old ad as a mural on the brick of someone's fireplace. Its a house in San Luis Obispo being remodeled and they wanted to have what looked like a recovered mural that had been installed in their house.

SO I went and got info and cash to get supplies and banged it out the next day in 6hrs!

Here it is! The tin was the inspiration. I didn't have to include as much detail because its going to be distressed afterwards.

I took a detail of the face, I am very proud of this painting!

Shane couldn't wait to test out the jackhammer to show Jim (the owner) what it would be like!
This is what it'll look like after the distressing, I'll have my dad take pictures of it for me.

I signed it at the bottom:

This was basically the best day ever!! Tell everyone that they need murals! And they need me to paint them!

My dad sent me a pic of the distressing that has gone on in San Luis.
As of May 5th:
